Is laughter always the best medicine? This hilarious, at times satirical comedy examines what happens as two black performers begin to confuse performance and reality. Their struggle to come to terms with their obligation to entertain and their ability to maintain an authentic self-hood is a thought-provoking character-study that considers the challenges of pleasing the public, paying the bills, battling stereotypes, and somehow still remaining true to one's self.
